Hi All,

Thanks for coming along last week and sorry about the excitement! We hope you enjoyed it anyway. We’ll catch up where we left due to the power outage off next time.

Our next free talk is 25 June at 7pm at Stadium Southland and will be on Good vs Bad debt and how to get better interest and pay off sooner to save money and have less stress. Hope you can make it. No need to register, just show up. Bring your folders if you have them. We’ll have some print outs that will be very helpful.

Here are the recipes that I promised, and a few more to inspire you to quick and easy and fun things to eat and feed your family and friends!

The pita pizzas are super quick just take a whole wheat pita and about a spoonful of hummus and tomato paste to cover as thin or thick as you prefer and pop in the oven like a frozen pizza for about 10 minutes. Depending on your oven you may have to experiment. Add any other toppings you like or eat it as is. Yum!

Waffles Perfect

2 cups (or so) of whole grain oats (uncooked)

1 cup of warm water

8 dates (or so, depending on your preference for sweetness)

Salt to taste

Vanilla, cinnamon etc optional

Blend until smooth

Depending on the thickness, add LSA or more flour to get to a paint like consistency.

Pour into waffle iron that is lightly sprayed with olive oil
